The Wellington Centre
We constantly seek to improve our facilities so that we can provide the best, inclusive and modern facilities accessible to all.
We moved to the Wellington Centre in 2011 after Bonhomie, our original home for 28 years, became too small. The Wellington Centre is a community hub which opens its doors to its’ members and the local community providing a safe haven for all to use.
SENSORY ROOM
Our sensory room provides the ideal place to immerse in an atmosphere of relaxation and has many proven benefits for both adults and children with learning disabilities. The room is fitted with multi-sensory equipment vital and effective in helping to support those with sensory needs.
Computer Suite
Our Computer Suite compromises of 10 desktop work stations, as well as a trainer station with SMART board. It is the perfect space for external training that requires computer based learning to boost IT skills or teach within Andover.
These facilities are also used by our Life Opportunities programmes to support young people and adults with learning disabilities to learn IT and employability skills.
ROOM FACILITIES
We pride ourselves on being all inclusive and boast modern room hire facilities accessible to all. On the ground floor, there is a meeting room, a fully equipped training room/computer suite, changing places certified changing facility, sensory room, chill out and relaxation space and a large hall with lighting, PA system and projector. A kitchenette accompanies the hall along with access to our garden.
On the first floor are the offices of Purple Oak Support. We are also proud to offer a large modern board room complete with SMART capabilities, projector and refreshments available upon request. The first floor is accessible by lift.
We can also offer equipment to hire; laptops, flip chart stands and portable projectors. We can even photocopy and scan documents for you.
