Get Involved
GET INVOLVED
We want to ensure that the people that we support in our community experience a fantastic journey with us by their side. To do this to the best of our ability, we rely on your kind contributions, whether this is a thoughtful donation, dedicating your time, attending or volunteering for our fundraising events or providing ‘added value’ services that we are unable to fund from our carefully managed resources. Every moment or penny given helps us to do more for the people that we support.
FUNDRAISING AND EVENTS
We’re always running different fundraising activities and events to achieve our charitable aims and objectives. If you’d like to fundraise on our behalf, get involved in our latest initiatives or sponsor our events, please do get in touch.
you can support us when you shop on Amazon Smile and EasyFundrasing.org just by shopping online!
Volunteering
We’re always in need of volunteers to help at our amazing clubs and through our wide ranging activities. The volunteering opportunities available include helping the people we support to paint, tidy the garden, build their life skills or provide support to attend our clubs and activities, either at our base or out and about in the community. We also appreciate any help to improve our facilities to better meet the needs of the people we support.
All volunteers are able to attend a Welcome Day and have an induction with our dedicated team. Some roles will need extra training, for example, becoming a Trustee or supporting someone with additional needs, and this will be discussed with you as appropriate. If you would like to make a positive difference to the lives of the people that we support, then please get in touch.
Charity Partnerships
Purple Oak Support aims to work closely with our local and national partners, working hard to maximise our positive impact. Through our local partnerships, we can build stronger networks of support and provide more opportunities to help the people that we support to live and work better. We are always looking to make new connections. Please get in touch.
We are Purple Oak Support and your contribution can make a real difference.
Trusts & Foundations
Trusts and Foundations
Trusts and Foundations play a crucial role in our ability to support disabled people to live, work and enjoy life. Grants help us to secure the future delivery of our vital services and create environments where disabled people can find a sense of achievement and purpose.
The support of Trusts and Foundations enables us to:
- Equip disabled people with the skills, qualifications and confidence to find and maintain sustainable employment.
- Provided supported living options
- Provide a range of activities that promote , friendships and positive and healthy lifestyles.
- Raise disability awareness and enable us to continue championing the rights of disabled people
We are grateful to the Trusts and Foundations who have and continue to generously supported Purple Oak Support, enabling us to continue leading the way delivering services to over 7000 disabled people each year.
